PriceByText is a wholly owned subsidiary of Broadplay Inc. Broadplay is a full service digital marketing agency headquartered in Toronto, Canada, operating since 2003. Broadplay specializes in delivering cutting-edge digital solutions, including mobile marketing initiatives to corporate clientele. From this experience, the team at Broadplay designed the Mobile Marketing Intelligence (MMI) platform that powers PriceByText. The Broadplay team realized that the same engineering and software design could be developed to benefit the consumer rather than the retailer, and as a result, PriceByText was launched in December 2007.
